Tru Trac lure company is proud to introduce possibly the most perfect casting, flipping or pitching jig on the market.
Just ask Ken Brodeur of the Bass Elite Series 10th place finisher at Lake Amistad, Texas March 07. The first day of practice Ken made three casts bringing back a 9 and two 7 pounders.
We're not going to say you can do this all of the time, but isn't it kind of nice to have the odds stacked in your favor?
There are many secrets to the success of this jig, by the way, which is called the Tru Trac Flare Jig. The name kind of says it all. This jig is a stand up jig with two skirts; yes i said two skirts. The first skirt closest to the head of the jig is made of heavy round rubber; the back skirt is premium silicone which actually breathes in the water (not lifeless and still). The purpose of the round rubber skirt is to represent the tentacles of a crawfish; the silicone skirt represents the color ot the body of a crawfish. This jig has double eyes on each side which actually change color as the jig is moved along. Coupled up with needle point extra wide gapped Mustad hooks is sure to give you a good hook set.
Sizes are 1/8, ¼, 3/8, ½, ¾ & 1 ¼ oz. The heavier jigs really penetrate hydrilla because of the wedged pointed head (almost like a bullet).
